The taliban is a extremist lslamist group that emerged in the late 1990s in Afghanistan. the group gained control over most of the country by imposing a strict interpretation of lslamic law and carrying out brutal and oppressive policies.under taliban rule women were heavily restricted,education was limited and cultural and artistic expressions were banned. The group was toppled from power in 2001 by aUS-led coalition following the September 11 attacks as the taliban had provided safe haven to the territory group responsible,Al-Qaeda since than the taliban has been engaged in an insurgency against the afghan government and international coalition forces. Despite efforts to negotiate a peaceful resolution and establish a stable government in Afghanistan the taliban has continued to carry out attacks and region control over certain areas of the country, the group has also been involved in the illicit drug trade using the profits to fund its operations, The ongoing conflict with the taliban has resulted in significant loss of life and displacement of millions of afghans people. The situation remains complex and fragile as various factions and militant groups continue to vie for power in 🇦🇫 Afghanistan......
